miniDOT Wiper is almost here!

Don’t worry, the miniDOT Logger wiper is almost here! We are in phase two of testing this wiper out all over the world. The first testing phase went well and we found a few minor changes to the wiper that needed to be performed. Now that we have a pretty good idea as to how the wiper should operate, we have placed the new revision into the hands of our testers. Results look good!

Each new miniDOT logger with wiper will be shipped with a copper plate covering the surface in order to minimize fouling. Results look good that if the wiper is used in conjunction with the copper plate, the risk of fouling decreases substantially and increases the data longevity of the logger. We are expecting that once we have the wiper ready, the miniDOT logger will be the only product on the market able to last this long and return good data. The wiper will operate well off of three AA batteries. It should last at about the same amount of time as the miniDOT logger when wiping once every hour.

Stay tuned for updates! Please sign up to receive our newsletter if you are interested in receiving news of its release! Or check back here.

We would like to thank all of our customers who took the time to use the wiper and provide feedback. This wiper would not exist without your valuable observations. Thank you from all the PME staff!
