Case Study Description

Researchers deployed three miniDOT loggers in a small Arctic lake for one year between 2012 and 2013. The loggers were moored at depths of 1 meter, 2 meters and 3.5 meters from the surface of the lake. All loggers recorded measurements every 10 minutes for the course of the year. The logger located at the surface of the lake functioned at near-frozen temperatures for the entire year.

The miniDOT logger is a small, portable, completely submersible logging device able to record dissolved oxygen and temperature measurements.
