This forum was created to inform users about the LakeESP and provide information. Commonly asked questions are also answered. The LakeESP is a sensor buoy for monitoring water conditions and meteorology. Various water sensors can be placed along a cable, which hangs down into the water column. Meteorology sensors can monitor wind speed & direction, air temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and net long & short wave radiation. All sensors are sampled at once. Sampling can occur every few seconds, or minutes.

The LakeLogger is a complete underwater system that collects water condition data. Data that can be collected includes temperature, dissolved oxygen, PAR, pH, conductivity, and pressure. Data can be collected every few seconds, or minutes, and stored on the data logger's internal disk.

SCAMP is a portable, lightweight microstructure profiler designed to measure extremely small scale (order 1 mm) fluctuations of electrical conductivity, temperature, and chlorophyll concentration in lakes, reservoirs, estuaries and oceans.

The MSCTI is designed to measure the electrical conductivity and temperature of solutions containing conductive ions. MSCTI is a lab instrument used to measure turbulent density and temperature variations in salt-stratified water flows, turbulent salinity flux and to determine density profiles.

The Fast Conductivity and Temperature sensor has been modified to be integrated with a Nortek Velocimeter. This combined instrument has been used to study turbulent mixing and vertical transport near the sediment in a body of water.

The PME water column sensing T-Chain is available with RS 232 output and can be used with a variety of data loggers.
