The A/D converter is a 20K sample/second, 16 bit circuit block. It maps the analog voltage range of +/- 3.000 volts onto the integer range +32768 to -32767 according to the approximate equation
Nad = Vad/Vref * 32768
where
Nad - A/D digital output
Vad - A/D input analog voltage
Vref - reference voltage (+3.000 volts)
