Fast Temperature sensor can be found on SCAMP. It is capable of measuring rapid temperature fluctuations to accuracies better than 0.010 degrees C.

This paper describes how a submarine carrying a vertical array of high-resolution temperature sensors was used along with conventional measurements from a lowered CTD to make novel measurements of the temperature field in Lake Geneva during summertime conditions of stable stratifications and during winter convections.
