Data Logger

The data logger is attached to the top mast and houses all electronics and LakeESP sensor connections. The logger can store up to 2 Gigabytes of information, and can transmit the LakeESP data via GSM cell phone every few minutes, or hours. If GSM is not available, the LakeESP can be configured to transmit via satellite or point to point radio.

All of the LakeESP measurements pass from sensors into the LakeESP logger, and on to the flash disk it contains. Measurements may flow from the logger to the shore by various telemetry methods. Customers will be required to occasionally open the logger and utilize a few internal features. This chapter describes the internal features.
